Defense technologies that have emerged in recent years include technologies developed in fields such as optics, electronics, materials science and software to be used in the military field. Defense Technologies Days (STG), the most important event organized by the ITU Defense Technologies Club, which establishes to bring together the relevant people in this field and increase the cooperation between the sector and the university, organized online this year. The event was started with the opening speeches of the Rector, Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu and Defense Industry President Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir.

Current issues were held in the presentations made by the Department Heads, such as engine, S / UAV, electronic warfare and radar systems.
